Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1965 Chevrolet IMPALA recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. Additional Description: A true one family owned, Idaho local car, this 1965 Impala SS was purchased brand new from a Chevrolet dealership in Nampa, Idaho just minutes from our location here in Boise. Bought by the current owners mother, the car has been well loved in the family and underwent a thorough restoration approximately 2,000 miles ago. Photos during this process show the car being completely stripped down with the original motor being rebuilt and repainted on the outside. Currently showing 61,487 miles, the car still looks beautiful. Outside, the white paint looks to be in very good condition with all chrome showing well and wheels looking nice as well. The white top was replaced during the restoration and shows very nicely. Inside, the metallic blue interior is in excellent shape with newer looking carpets, working aftermarket radio, and the original tissue holder under the dash. Included with the car are many receipts and documents of services, as well as the original booklets that came with the purchase of the vehicle. The car still has the original Protect-o-plates as well. To enhance the ride a little more, there are air shocks added on the rear end of the car, and a larger radiator paired with an electric fan were installed. Photos of the car were taken on a 95 degree day outside, and with the car sitting for long periods of time it did not overheat with the fan turned on.
