Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1996 Chevrolet CORVETTE recalls can be found in this database. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: The C4 Corvette or the 4th generation Vette was built from 1983 through 1996 and to say they mad tremendous strides in that time frame would be an understatement. The early 1980s were a grim time for auto manufacturers and by the early 1990s power and performance started to come back to play. A few subtle design changes happened throughout those years. A little more low profile, sleekness, interior and lighting changes were some of the things to note at the end of the time in 1996. This particular Vette is a very nice and honest car with a lot of bang for the buck. White over tan is something we have not seen a lot of and in our opinion is a very attractive color combo. It is clear from the condition that the car has been properly cared for with the seats, carpet and wheels in what I would call good condition. The car starts, drives, idles perfectly and goes down the road as it should. The A/C blows ice cold and everything works. The paint still shines very nice with one small scuff mark just forward the driver side wheel on the bottom of the car. These cars have started to see a small uptick in pricing as everything else continues to go up. This is pure Americana and about to be considered a classic. I cant stress this enoughthis is one heck of a deal for a better than average daily driver or get started in the collector car hobby for a very attractive price and have something to be proud of.Front Air Conditioning, Steering Wheel Trim - Leather, Cruise Control, Multi-Function Remote - Keyless Entry, Multi-Function Remote - Trunk Release, Steering Wheel - Tilt, Abs - 4-Wheel, Power Brakes, Traction Control, Gauge - Tachometer, Antenna Type - Power, Cassette, Digital Instrument Panel, Radio - Am/Fm, Front Fog Lights, Wheel Diameter - 17 Inch, Wheels - Alloy, Removable Roof - Targa Top, Tinted Glass, Window Defogger - Rear, Front Wipers - Intermittent, Power Windows, Anti-Theft System - Alarm, Front Airbags - Dual, Power Door Locks, Side Mirror Adjustments - Power, Side Mirrors - Heated, Front Seat Type - Bucket, Upholstery - Leather
