Additional Description: The 60's were the golden age of American luxury sedans. The most enduring iconic sedan was the fourth-generation Lincoln Continental. The 1961 Lincoln continental was among the last four door convertibles to be sold in the United States and one of the cars to feature suicide doors until the Rolls-Royce in the 2000's. This 1961 was based on a stretched version of the proposed 1961 thunderbird two-door hardtop that was never built. The stretched version of this car was the vehicle that carried President Kennedy on the day of his assassination in 1963. This 1961 legend was built by California legendary Lincoln builders Curtis Foltz and Robert Telfer. The most prized 1961 Lincoln would be the Convertible and not many were produced in 61. In total 21,347 were built between the seven year stretch and only 10% remain on the road with an extremely small percentage completely restored to factory specifications.
