Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 2010 Chevrolet CAMARO recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. Additional Description: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Pace Car Edition #4 - 1,229 original miles - 1 of 294 Indy 500 Pace Car Editions produced in 2010 - One owner since new - Sold new at Berger Chevrolet, Grand Rapids, MI - 6.2L/400HP V8 engine - 6-speed automatic transmission - Brembo 4-wheel disc brakes - Air conditioning - Keyless entry and remote start - Inferno Orange with White Pearl stripes - First year for the 5th Generation Camaro (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Shake and Bake like you're qualifying everywhere you go in this Limited Edition Camaro Pace Car! Based on the 2SS Camaro, the Z4Z Pace Car option was limited to only 294 cars for the 2010 model year. The cars were only offered in Inferno Orange Pearl Metallic with two tone black and orange trimmed interiors. Since it's based on a SS Camaro, the Pace cars were optioned nicely and feature the 6.2L L99 V8 engine. This car is hard to miss with its Inferno Orange Pearl Metallic paint with pearl white stripes. It's a great color, but in direct sun this car is jaw dropping thanks to the way the pearl metallic pops. Other exterior features are Indianapolis 500 badging on the front fenders and doors, 'heritage' front grille, rear spoiler, and 20" polished alloy wheels. Adding the body colored heritage grille gives the car a completely different look than a regular production SS Camaro. Inside the car are two tone orange and black seats with Indy 500 logos stitched on the headrests of the front seats. Otherwise, the interior is a nicely equipped 2SS interior that includes 3-spoke steering wheel, Boston Acoustics stereo, heated seats, center console mounted gauges, Inferno Orange accents on the door panels and dashboard, and red stitching on the shifter and steering wheel. A 400 horsepower 6.2L V8 mated to a 6 speed automatic cranks out 400 horsepower, while Brembo disc brakes on all four corners slow this special edition car down. Low mileage is a good thing since this Camaro is a limited, collectible car that GM offered to appeal to Indianapolis 500 fans, and to Camaro enthusiasts. Only 1,229 miles show on the clock. The 2010 Pace Car Edition is the 4th time that Chevrolet produced a pace car edition, and is the first since the 1993 edition. Chevrolet also offered the Pace Car Edition in 1969 and 1982. This car is one of only a select few sold to commemorate the 94th running of the Indy 500, which is a great reason to consider this car for your collection. As if that's not enough, under the skin this car is an SS Camaro offering many great options and a 400 horsepower V8 under the hood.
