Additional Description: Here we have a 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale. This was the first year for the newly redesigned body style of the Mustang. The one we have for you is done in the original color combination and features the matching numbers driveline. The body on it is all rock solid and has gorgeous body lines and excellent fit of all the panels. It's covered in the Correct Bright Red paint that has been polished to a gorgeous finish that's slick as a ribbon. This '73 has the Black Power Top with the Black boot to match for when the top is down. You'll also notice the black stripes along with the Black spoiler's front and rear that accent the Bright Red Perfectly. It's got the painted bumper up front with the chrome bumper out back that has a brilliant shine along with the rest of the trim and stainless. The grill is in like new condition and all the glass is beautiful with the side windows going up and down with ease and a great fit. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the Magnum 500 Wheels with Pony Centers and BF Goodrich Radial TA Tires. Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside it's done in the in the black color scheme that flows perfectly with the Exterior Color Combo. It has the high back bucket seats and the seat covers are very nice both front and rear. You'll notice that all the door jams look amazing and are solid. It has new sill plates along with having had the carpet replaced. The door panels are also in excellent condition and have the wood grain accents. Looking at the dash you can see it has the correct steering wheel that also has the wood grain accents. The dash pad is in great condition along with all the gauges and the lens that covers them. This mustang has the center console that houses the Automatic Shifter and Clock. Inside the trunk it's all solid with the spare and trunk mat to detail it out. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the matching numbers 351 Cleveland Engine that's set up with the Edelbrock Peformer Intake and Holley Four Barrel Carb. It's dressed with the Correct Air Cleaner and the 351 Cleveland Finned Valve Covers. To keep it cool it's been upgraded with an Aluminum Radiator, and it also comes with Power Steering. All of the engine bay is excellent condition from the inner fenders to the firewall. The 351 is mated to the FMX Automatic Transmission that goes out back to the correct 9" Ford Rear End 2.75 Gears. For exhaust it has the correct manifolds with dual pipes and V Force Mufflers. The brakes on this Mustang features front Disc and Rear Drums and all the lines look good too. When you look under this Convertible you'll notice that it all of the floors pans look to be original and are rock solid along with the Frame that shows no signs of being abused.
