Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1955 Ford THUNDERBIRD recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: This 1955 Ford Thunderbird is a complete, clean, and sharp-looking classic. So when you can get the V8 icon in its terrific and correct color combo, it's a true drop-top of distinction. Raven Black is one of the most desirable factory colors around. After all, the 1955 T-Bird debuted Ford's personal statement, and this makes it looks as formal as a tuxedo (especially with those whitewall tires.) The body is well done with quite straight panels and fantastic gaps, so it really does have the crisp look of formalwear. The designers really wanted to make sure these first-ever Thunderbirds were going to get noticed. That's why they come with eye-catching details like the hood scoop, sporty side louvers, bright wire wheel covers, fender skirts, and jet-inspired tailfins. Even the bumper design had extra thought put into it. It's quite symmetrical where the front has a bold dual-bullet style, and the rear had similar inserts, but those were actually for the tailpipes. The black soft top is a newer piece with bright trim, and so it looks great alongside the exterior paint. Of course, a first-gen Thunderbird only gets better with the top down, especially with the color combo of this one. The factory-correct two-tone black and white interior coordinates with the black exterior and whitewalls to gives this a thoughtful full presentation inside and out. This has all the right pieces you love, like the cool plexiglas speedometer and machine-turned panel that flows across the dash and doors. Because this is a personal luxury cruiser, you also get some features that are a true rarity for the time, like the power seat. And they even gave this one a few worthwhile upgrades to keep it a better modern cruiser. The AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner means it's easy to get your favorite driving music. And the grippy sports steering wheel feels great in your hands (traditionalist will be happy to know the original wheel comes with the sale, too.) Under the hood is a vintage style presentation right down to the details like Thunderbird valve covers and half seal around the bright air grabber. Ford's Y-block is a hardy V8 that was the engine of choice from this era to really give these blue ovals both horsepower and torque. This one even has the correct-style Holley 4000 four-barrel carburetor. It's a strong-running motor, and so this classic T-bird loves to cruise even today. That's why you also have nice driving features like the automatic transmission and power brakes. Complete with owner's manual, this one has the look and features you want. So don't let this black first-year T-bird slip away. Call today!!!
