Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1987 Porsche 924 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: When first introduced in 1976 the Porsche 924 was designed as the replacement for its entry-level 914 model. With sales exceeding 150,000 units between 1976 and 1988 the 1924 was considered a sales success. As a testament to how successful the 924 model was for Porsche, in 1983 Porsche released the 944 as its replacement but demand for the classic 924 carried it production right through 1985. It was then followed by three years of the 944 engined 924 known as the 924S. This brought the 924's run right up until 1988, a full five years after its replacement had been released. We at Boch exotics are very proud to offer this stunning example of a true classic. It was purchased by the owner for his private collection. This true collectible came to us by way of the Volo Auto Museum in IL. As with all vehicles in Mr. Boch's Collection this 924S received a full mechanical restoration. Sparing no expense European Performance Engineering, one of the top Porsche shops in the Northeast, performed all major maintenance including a clutch replacement. Anything that showed any sign of wear was replaced. This vehicle still retains all of its factory sheet metal panels and paint, both of which are in showroom condition. It sports just over 29,000 original miles which breaks down to less than 900 miles per year. Everything in this vehicle works as it was intended from the factory. As it sometimes happens the collection has outgrown its available space. The owner has asked us to find a good home to someone who will appreciate and maintain this beautiful example of a much desired classic. We here at Boch Exotics are proud to bring this unique example of an under-priced collectible back into the market place. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or information you need. Receipts will be available to interested buyers.160 Point Safety Inspection
